Costume ideas involving a brightly colored wig?

im at a total loss for halloween. i have two costume wigs (neon green & blue) that i know for sure i want to include… but what character/decade/occupation/superhero costume could i wear with it?
i was thinking maybe katy perry from california girls but any ideas would reeeally help me :)

i’m making my halloween costume and it out of baby blue satin and royal blue velvatine. it’s going to be sort of a royal queenly look like the reniassance but i can’t seem to decide on sleeves. which ones do you like???

I am making a Halloween costume (Renaissance Pirate) and I need a top like this one:

As you can see, the price is kind of steep. I don’t think I’d pay .00 for a shirt so simple. I’ll be wearing an underbust waist cincher corset underneath the shirt. I basically need an off the shoulder peasant top that is long sleeved. I’d prefer a red or black one but white will do fine.

I’ve searched all over and can’t find one that suits me. Help?

How should i style my hair for renfest?

I am going to the renaissance festival in September and I don’t know how to style my hair.

A couple Halloween costume idea for a guy who hated to dress up?

Looking for something subtle & creative. I LOVE to dress up for Halloween, my hubby hates it. He said for the party we were invited to he’d just wear vampire teeth or a mask.

Anyone have any other ideas, that aren’t in your face but maybe he’d be willing to try….& I could work my costume in w/ his? All I have is cowboy & saloon girl…I don’t even think he’d dress up THAT much. :P

Teen Group Costume ideas?

I’m having a party this halloween, and the day after me and my friends are going trick or treating for a bit. There’s 4 of us. We want the same theme, but not the same costume. We’ve agreed we don’t want anything too sexy, or too goofy. We were thinking of doing celebrity trainwrecks of 2009&2010, but we’re not sure. Any other themes you guys can think of, it would help. thanks.

Group costume ideas?

Hello. My friends and I have a costume party at a nightclub next week and we want a group costume. We are 2 guys and 3 to 5 girls (not sure if all 5 are participating, but at least 3 of them are) around 20 years old.

We don’t want anything bulky, complicated or uncomfortable, for example, a milk carton costume would be a world of NO. Masks are a no too.

Our top ideas now are: fantasies (policeman, fireman, sexy nurse, naughty teacher, etc), pacman (one as pacman, the rest as the ghosts) or the Scooby Doo gang, but we’re not completely thrilled with those. We even thought about going as ourselves, but mixed haha.

The party is organised by us, marketing students, so it has to be SUPER original and creative. We want something people would recognize (so the idea of the cast of Friends or something similar is screwed, nobody will know who we are).

Please don’t say pirates, wizard of oz, m&m’s, crayons, food or that stuff that is not original at all.

we want something where he can look ridiculous and i can look decent… any original ideas? not so much the plug & socket type.. or adam & eve and priest & nun or sexy cop & prisoner or "sick & tired" or "nuts & bolts" or "peace & quiet"… something different.. last year we were a figure skating pair with real matching outfits & skates. any good ideas? maybe 80’s or 90’s movie/tv/cartoon characters? help!
anyone have any good ideas about characters we could be? like from the 80s and 90s though? movies, etc?

in band we have this day where everybody dresses in a costume and all the people in one section dress in the same costume. I need some ideas for the mallet percussion/pit section for us all to dress up as. in previous years people have been hippies, ninja turtles, m&m’s…that sort of thing. We have 7 people in our group. thanks for your help! :D
