So this morning my friend and I were trying to figure out what to do, and she suggested that we go to the Renaissance festival that’s going on this weekend. I’ve heard about them but never actually been to one before, so a couple questions:
1) We’re planning to dress up (long story, but we both happen to have medieval looking costumes). Do most people dress up or is that mainly for the people who actually work there?
2) Will we be expected to know "Ren-speak" since we’re dressed up? I’m a history geek but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pull it off.
We’re attending the Colorado Renaissance Festival. Any other advice you guys can give for enjoying the fair would be appreciated!
