I’m going to a Renaissance Faire for the Halloween weekend, and I want to have a costume.
I don’t think the sexy costumes are allowed, and I wouldn’t want to wear one anyway, but I don’t want a funny costume either. I need help finding a good female costume that’s good looking and not cheap. Preferably not the Ren era. =)

I’m going to the faire next weekend to meet one of my favorite authors, Peter S. Beagle. Sadly, I have no costume and I’d like to look renaissancey for the occasion. Plus, it’s not nearly as fun going in regular apparel.
I have some ideas but they suck royaly being as that my budget is tight if I want to go.
I was sort of thinking something like a female thief or the feminine version of the fictional character robin hood. Or a hunter. Some female costume thy doesn’t involve a dress. If you have any ideas, they are much appreciated.
