do you or have you gone to a ren. faire??
did you have a good time??
did you dress up in costume, or would you be prone to in the future??
i have recently gone to one in tampa and i spent a fortune!!!! getting outfitted. but i look totally hott so i guess it was worth it, lol. what do you think about the faires and such??
I recently attended my first Ren Faire this year and am now hooked. I bought a corset and two skirts and would like to add more to my costume, but I’m not entirely sure where to go with it. After some research it looks like it would be a good 17th century, middle to upper class woman’s style. I already have plans to get a four-boned hoopskirt and to put the belt beneath the corset and attach a feather fan and pouch. What else can I do? Is this a good time period to work off of? How about headwear? Could I wear a cavalier type hat made to match the dress or should I stick with a snood, etc?

I go to the Renaissance Fair ever year in my area and even though it’s always the same, I still have a pretty good time. The best part is going to people watch and admire those who get all dressed up in the time period costumes. One year I noticed two people at the Ren Faire dressed as Klingons. I don’t know what was up with that! Anyway if you have worn a costume what did you wear?
