Where can I find a cheap plus-sized Halloween costume that isn't slutty?

My boss wants me and my coworkers to dress up. Last year I went as a female version of the joker and the little kids were frightened of me. LOL
All the costumes in my size are either too expensive or too slutty. My price range is rather low since I couldn’t care less about Halloween. I do not want something slutty. I don’t want to show too much leg or ANY stomach. It has to be work appropriate. Why do the people that make these costumes think this is a good idea for a plus-sized costume? lol
My price range is lower than 25 dollars. I was thinking something like a Greek goddess or a renaissance lady, it seems like these would be very flattering. But really anything that’s not slutty or scary will work. I’d be willing to make a costume if it’s really simple and can be done in a week or so (last year my boss made us dress up all week.) Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Indian or geisha halloween costume offensive – or couples costumes?

I am trying to pick a couples costume for me and my hubby.
I was thinking of cowboy for him indian for me – but I am worried that if someone at the party happens to be native american they may be offended – especially if I get really drunk and start making stereotypical gestures.
I have the same worry about being a geisha and he a samurai warrior. I am worried that if I use liquid eyeliner to accentuate my eyes it could offend any asian people that may be at the party.
I am also thinking of him being a gladiator and me a greek goddess, but I don’t want to be stuck in a toga.
Do you have any other ideas for couples costumes?
