I don’t know where else to ask this but here..
I am looking to buy a bow online for a renaissance fantasy archer costume, but I know very little about REAL bows and I need some help. Also, if this helps, the bow will never be used for hunting and doesn’t have to be functional. It just has to look good for a costume.
1. What is the right size bow for me if I am a female with a height of 60”? I see that a lot of bows are 60” and it seems silly to be carrying around a bow as tall as I am..
2. What is a good material for the bow if I am looking for something pretty lightweight to carry around for hours at a time?
3. Is there any way to hold the bow on your person without carrying it in your hands? Perhaps some kind of strap?

My main question is would a 60” inch bow be too long for someone who is only 60” tall, or is that normal for a bow? Should I go with a 52” or 48” bow instead?
