what would be a fair price to charge for labor on these 2 dresses? pattern 3623 is only the (A) corset vest and single skirt size 12 . pattern M5647 is just as seen in red (A) size 24w. all materials have been supplied.

3623: plaid cotton plaid lined up on the skirt, tweed vest lined with satin; m5647 is velveteen and satin sleeves. My husband is a furniture upholster and took in this job for a couple ladies who were desperate do get them done in time for the ren. fair. And I want to give them a fair price tomorrow when they come to pick them up.
I am interested in joining the local Renaissance Faire after graduating college and before/while attending grad school. I’ve been several times and I love the atmosphere and I’m considering acting or vending (I make jewelry and a friend of mine makes costumes) while taking a year off to study for the GRE and make some decisions about grad school.
1. Is the Ren Faire your only job? If not, what is your other/primary occupation?
2. What is your level of education? Or rather is there a necessary type of degree for certain positions?
3. What is you level of involvement? (seasonal, year-long, traveling, volunteer, etc….)
4. What is your role in the Ren Faire? (organizing, vendor, actor, etc….)
5. How is the pay?
6. Would you recommend this occupation to others?
For the record, it’s this or the Peace Corps….and I’d rather not get malaria.
