I have this really nice mask – it is black and gold, rather glittery and has mildly large black feathers coming from the top. I’ve got a fancy dress party coming up and need ideas to incorporate into using this mask. I’m thinking of just wearing a slinky black social dress and make some large black wings to wear. I could be The Dark Angel of Something or Other.
Any other ideas I could use to make this costume?
My husband and I are throwing a Halloween party this year but we can’t seem to agree on any of the few couples ideas we’ve come up with. (The only thing we agree on is that we want to go as a couple. lol.) Our requirements are sort of specific:
Something identifiable.
Cute/vaguely sexy but not overtly sexual.
Not too expensive to buy or too complicated to make.
He wears glasses, so he’d have trouble wearing a mask.
I’m a size 14/16, so I wouldn’t like it if mine was too revealing. (Though I don’t really mind formfitting.)
Sort of obvious why we’re having trouble, right? LOL. We’ve come closest to agreeing on Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, but we’re looking for more ideas. Creative or not, we’d appreciate them.

Looking for something subtle & creative. I LOVE to dress up for Halloween, my hubby hates it. He said for the party we were invited to he’d just wear vampire teeth or a mask.
Anyone have any other ideas, that aren’t in your face but maybe he’d be willing to try….& I could work my costume in w/ his? All I have is cowboy & saloon girl…I don’t even think he’d dress up THAT much.

My school is throwing this Halloween party and I want a costume that’s not going to be a nuisance. For example, I don’t want a mask because that will be too hot and I can’t really have any face paint in case I sweat when dancing :/ Any ideas for a simple costume?

Hi! I cannot believe I am asking this, since I am the Queen of Halloween, but I am looking for an APPROPRIATE Halloween costume. I am 23 years old, and all the costumes for my age group are rather skanky. Normally, I would have fun with it, and embrace said skankiness, but I have been invited to my boyfriend’s family Halloween party, and I cannot be hanging out of my clothes in front of his cousins and aunts and uncles, etc. Does anyone know a site where I can find an appropriate costume that is still cute? I don’t want to be a nun or a Renaissance woman or anything like that. I wanted to be an animal, like a bear, but I don’t want to wear a mask or a full body suit. I want my legs to show a bit, but I don’t want my backside to be hanging out of my skirt. Nothing too low-cut and no stomach showing. Can anyone help me?

My siblings want to be something scary for Halloween. Only I have no idea what they could be. They are very adamant about it being scary and not "babyish".
The girls are 10, 8, and 6 and the boy is 9.
The girls really are cheerleaders so they don’t want to be dead ones understandably, and the boy was going to be scream last year but he saw the mask and started to cry.
To start all of us are in our sophomore year in high school and we don’t want to go buy a full costume from our Halloween store..
we want to look mysterious and sexy/cute..
we were thinking pussycat dolls but one girl hated the idea…
but I was thinking girl scouts or a sports team or we all go in dresses and mask but no one likes the idea..

They have to correlate with each other. No mask or heavy costumes, and no dressing up like girls because they are band boys and they are putting on a show that night. Please help with ideas!

there cheesy & cheap from like any grocery store or drug store, back then. the elastic band that around the head to keep the mask on. THEY STILL GOT TO BE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE!
