What medieval accessories can a groom wear without looking like he's in costume?

We’re having a wedding in a Renaissance type location but we’re not going for the all-out Renaissance theme. I won’t have a medieval style dress but I’ll have a tiara or garland and maybe a cloak or cape. What can my groom wear with a tux that will be a throwback to medieval times without looking like he’s in costume?

I want a nice dress that you see in the movies, like what Elizabeth I wore, or some other Medieval or Victorian women might have worn.

I don’t want any costumes though, or anything expensive.
Anything in that kind of style I highlighted would be great.
