Halloween costume suggestions?

I’m a senior in high school and this is the year we’re allowed to go crazy with a costume to wear to school. I have no clue what to dress as this year, though. Any suggestions? If it’s helpful, I have shoulder-length wavy red hair and a slender build. Most of my costumes in the past few years have been historical or fantasy based, like Guinevier or a renaissance peasant… but I’m willing to branch out a bit…
I enjoy fantasy, vampire novels, a little sci fi, and some of my favorite books are Terry Pratchett’s discworld novels…
In addition to ideas, ways to work them would be greatly appreciated!

group halloween costume ideas, anyone?

i need some suggestions for halloween costumes for a group of 5 15 year old girls. we were wizard of oz characters last year, and this year we need ideas. a couple of my friends are a little overweight and they don’t want to show a lot of skin but a couple of us do, so flexible costumes that could go either way would be good. thanks!
a more detailed description of us (names changed):
me – tall, pale, skinny, medium-length red hair
samantha – short, pale, overweight, short curly brown hair
ariana – short, tan, skinny, medium-length dark brown hair
anna – tall, pale, overweight, long red hair
melody – short, dark tan, normal build, medium-length dark brown hair

My friend and I are going to a costume party. I was trying to come up with an idea of a couple costume but just for two friends, that are both girls.
I have red hair and she has black hair and we’re both about the same size 5′4”-115 lbs if that helps.

I’m about 5′1 and I have red hair if that has anything to do with it.

Couples Costume Ideas?

My boyfriend and I were asked to dress as a couple for a halloween party. He’s tall and has red hair and I am just a little shorter than him with brown. We don’t really want to have to do a whole lot to dress up and I was wondering if anybody has any ideas… all I have so far is ron and hermoine
also nothing gory, I really don’t want to have to deal with fake blood all night…oh and that reminds me, we need to be comfortable in them to play games (think could I wear this while playing twister?)
