i need a quick simple costume from home. Help please?

Okay so I just started this new job and i was just informed that i have to dress up on halloween. i don’t get paid until the beginning of next month, but i still have to dress up.. but to make things worse i have to be either… disney… or a cartoon character.. i have a purple Renaissance dress, and a poodle skirt. i also have just normal clothes..i am big so i cant do sexy outfits or anything.. but suggestions would be ADORED!! thank you.

I have 3 very very very very VERY different styles of clothes. First is renaissance, gowns and tiaras.

As you can guess, I can’t use this style (unless the renaissance festival or halloween is involved)

Second, kind of basically average good girl style. Knee length skirts, sensible shoes, nothing too revealing. Think that person at school who always followed the rules and looked cute.

And this is really strange. Punk/scene. Never understood why I like this, I don’t like black (unless paired with bright colors) so think like tutus and things like heart and cross bones. Well, not really that punk because of the one above. I think Avril Lavigne clothes are so cool!

Well, not sure how I can combine these. Second 2 are complete different things. And not sure how you will get the renaissance…. So, any answers accepted

Parents, if you take your little ones trick or treating on Halloween, do you dress up too?

I have a renaissance dress that I wore last year when I took my daughter trick or treating. She was cinderella last year. I found a similar renaissance dress for her this year, so now we have matching mother/daughter costumes. My husband goes trick or treating with us, but isn’t dressing up. My son is going to be superbaby, so I think it would have been funny to see my husband dress like superman. LOL.

What color cape should I purchase to match my Renaissance Faire dress?

I have purchased a beautiful Renaissance dress from Pyramid Collections.

The dress has a royal purple skirt and a reversible top that is either black or gold and purple. I have been looking at capes from VonLancelot on Ebay. The name of his store is Cloak Company. He makes beautiful satin-lined moleskin cloaks. I am going to buy one, and have several picked out, but am not sure what color I can pair it with.
