What medieval accessories can a groom wear without looking like he's in costume?

We’re having a wedding in a Renaissance type location but we’re not going for the all-out Renaissance theme. I won’t have a medieval style dress but I’ll have a tiara or garland and maybe a cloak or cape. What can my groom wear with a tux that will be a throwback to medieval times without looking like he’s in costume?

my big girl is turning 10 and we’re making a big to do since she has made so many friends at folklorico and scouts. we decided a renaissance theme because we had a blast at the RENFEST here in texas. i’m already working on our costumes. she wants a new one, and i want to be a wench. anyway, anyone have any ideas of food, games, decorations? i’m pretty creative but i cant think of things to decorate with.
